What is this position about:

  • Support of development of new mechanical modules of transmission electron microscopes
  • Support of engineering changes
  • Create technical documentation
  • Thermal modeling and heat transfer analysis of mechanical assemblies
  • Execute tests to verify new modules and create test reports

What do we expect:

  • Good overall technical knowledge
  • Faculty of mechanical engineering student (or similar area)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling (NX7.5 or similar) and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of heat transfer by radiation and conduction
  • Good communication skills, enthusiasm for the job, patience
  • Willingness to learn new things is a must
  • Both written and spoken English

Advantage is to know:

  • Knowledge of thermomechanics and finite element method
  • Experience with modeling of heat transfer
  • Knowledge of technologies used in electron microscopes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies
  • Practical experience with machining technologies
  • Experience with multinational work environment
  • Driving licence B
