With revenues of more than $20 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world.

Our electron microscopes are highly complex machines and need proper system tuning in order to see individual atoms. This is achieved via software procedures using computer vision techniques and data analysis.

What projects will you work on?

  • develop and automate software procedures necessary for the successful operation of electron microscopes
  • design algorithms that cope with specific electron microscope images. Use image processing and pattern recognition, data analysis, mathematical models and many other advanced techniques
  • interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
  • understand the basics of the electron optics structure
  • create solutions from initial concept and prototyping to final testing
  • improve current algorithms, investigate and fix bugs, bring innovative ideas into the final product
  • test directly on the hardware getting immediate and direct feedback
  • close cooperation with our branch in Eindhoven (Netherlands)

Who do we look for?

  • typically requires MSc degree in a technical discipline
  • image processing experience – must demonstrate the ability to understand computer vision principles
  • programming skills – preferably Python and/or C++
  • communication skills
  • English for daily communication, at least B2 level
  • eligible for a passport and able to travel few short business trips during the year, mainly to Eindhoven

Further preference is given for hands-on experience with one or more of the following areas:

  • experience with related tooling – OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy
  • data mining
  • machine learning

How do we motivate you?

  • opportunity to become a part of a successful international company specialized in HI TECH
  • training and development support e.g. free English lessons
  • flexibility in terms of working hours
  • free Multisport card
  • meal vouchers, fresh fruit every day
  • pension insurance contribution
  • modern work environment, relax room with fitness equipment, massage and physiotherapy in the same building as your office
