In Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno, we develop and produce high-tech electron microscopes and spectrometers. Our devices are involved in research of ZIKA virus, HIV, and they also enable mobile phones to get smaller. Our work contributes to making the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We are the biggest production site of electron microscopes worldwide, following a tradition over 70 years long. There are many experts in physics, electronics, software, mechanical engineering and logistics among us.

What projects will you work on?

  • support development and integration of new components for Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM)
  • you will learn to operate and understand TEM and will help to test its modules
  • monitor trends in industry and high-tech and propose new innovations and applications
  • active member of team, close cooperation with Project leader, other team members and other departments and remote sites

Who do we look for?

  • candidate with technical/Scientific master’s degree (Mathematics, Physics, IT or similar)
  • passion for self-development and gaining expertise
  • logical and conceptual thinking
  • english for daily job communication
  • programming/scripting experience, knowledge of Python is an advantage
  • enthusiasm, positive thinking and attitude
