Job Location: Czech Republic- Field/Remote

As a Senior Area Commercial Manager you will be responsible for driving commercial strategy and execution in Czech Republic and Slovakia to meet revenue goals and ensure continued profitable growth of our Microbiology business.

What project will you work on?

  • Manage a Sales and Technical Application Team in the territory.
  • Realize the short-, mid- and long- term Sales, Margin and Market share objectives.
  • Analyse revenue development, sales opportunities and risks vs. AOP via CRM reporting.
  • Manage Sales planning, budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Act on MBD Product and Market strategy.
  • Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching within the Sales Function
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-divisionally to drive results and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously develop attitudes, knowledge and skills within the Sales team to meet objectives.

Who do we look for?

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years commercial management experience with proven track record of over delivery and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrates superior relationship management, customer focus with strong negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge in Microbiology, wider knowledge/experience in clinical diagnostics laboratory market an advantage.
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and understands the necessity for sales planning and execution using standard sales tools e.g. CRM to drive commercial operational excellence.
  • The ability to travel extensively within the allocated sales region and also attend regional, national or international meetings
  • Good computer skills in MS Office products.
  • A Master’s or MBA is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field essential.
